Thanks, and an explanation

I noticed recently that my blog now has 577 followers (that includes those subscribing to the blog and those following via Twitter or Facebook). It’s well past time I thanked you. So thank you very much! I’m glad you’ve found something of interest here.

Also, I think I need to explain to you why I haven’t been posting very much lately. I’ve tried to keep my “real life” out of this blog as much as possible, but alas, real life won’t let me do that. I have a severe case of mono which was supposed to go away in eight weeks and is still hanging around after eleven. The only cure for mono is rest (seriously, we landed on the Moon and we can’t cure mono?). My doctor’s office accused me of not resting, but I should have told them that if I were resting any more, I would start growing moss on my north side.

Anyway, I’m trying to rest and watch my stress levels. So to that end, I’m refraining from posting anything where I’ll end up ranting about the Catholic Church or people who want to make Christianity the national religion or whatever. That does still leave one other category, Kemeticism, and in a few days I’ll post something on that topic. I don’t have much, but I may have enough for one post, at least.

In the meantime, I’m going to have to ask you all to please bear with me. I haven’t forgotten about you guys, and I’ll have something else for you soon. In two weeks I’m going for another blood test, which will hopefully show that the mono is gone (my case of mono just makes me tired, so for practical purposes, it’s pretty indistinguishable from my fibromyalgia, which also makes me tired), and maybe then I can get ranty again.

Be well, everyone.
